Difference in fuel consumption between 1HZ and V6??In 10000km, the V6 gulps down +- 1667 litres (6 km/l), = R 20370 (@ R 12,22/L)The Donkey +- 1428 (7km/l), = R 17560 (@ R 12.36/l)Difference is 239 litres, and R 2810.Your “extra” service on the Donkey is around R 1200.so………physical monetary difference is R 1610 over 10 000km, or 16 cents a kilometer. Or a difference of a measly R 161 over 1000 kilometers.If that bothers you, with all due respect, then look at something like a Polo Diesel.  |
