I fitted a Safari Snorkel , without the cyclonic pre filter , as I normally just turn the intake backwards when driving in thick dust , and I suspect it gets better air flow in normal conditions than the cyclonic does

Safari (Oz sales office) says the cyclonic head will use more fuel on the open roda. They recommend the cyclonic for sandy & dusty conditions below +/- 60kph
